Unai Hernandez has decided to leave Barcelona to join Al-Ittihad after being convince by the Saudi Arabian club’s technical director Ramon Planes.

Barcelona sporting director Anderson Deco has admitted that 20-year-old midfielder Unai Hernandez was the one who pushed the club to let him join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad during the last transfer window.

Barcelona agreed a deal to let Unai join Al-Ittihad in January for a fee of €4.5m, with the player signing a contract until 2028. Although some of the club’s executives เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย were against letting the 20-year-old midfielder leave the club, Deco insisted it was the player’s wish.

‘It’s difficult to say anything because I don’t really know his personal life or his family. Saudi Arabia is becoming a market for young players and of course Barcelona has a lot of quality players in the lower categories. Once a player makes a decision, it is very difficult to stop. If we try to keep Unai because he has a contract, it will be bad for him and for us because he is very clear that he wants to leave. I think it is hasty, but it is my opinion. ‘

‘Unai is frustrated about not having the chance to play in the first team, but we have to think that the younger players are going to have a harder time because there are a lot of them who are building up the team, but sometimes you have to hurry because you want this opportunity as soon as possible,’ Deco explained.
