Carlo Ancelotti unsure about Raul Asensio place after Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba return from injury.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti will not confirm whether Raul Asensio will start against Manchester City in the second leg of their Champions League play-off next week, despite the 21-year-old centre-back impressing on his debut following the recoveries of Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba, Diario AS reports on Friday.
Asensio partnered Aurelien Chuameni at centre-back at the Etihad Stadium following injuries to Rudiger, Alaba and Eder Militao, with the 21-year-old impressing in Los Blancos’ 3-2 win at City, but Ancelotti was unsure whether the player will start against City in the second leg of their play-off tie.

The Italian coach also confirmed that Rudiger, Alaba and Lucas Vazquez will all be fit to face Manchester City on Wednesday, February 19, after all three missed the trip to the Etihad Stadium.
‘(Federico) Valverde will continue to play right-back until Lucas comes back. He made a big contribution and I liked him against City. He really likes the position. Tomorrow we will keep him playing there.’
