Brighton are close to agreeing a deal with Liverpool midfielder James Milner , who is out of contract at the end of June.

The 37-year-old confirmed last month that he would be leaving Anfield at the end of the season. Causing interest from many teams, including Leeds United, Aston Villa and The Seagull, who seem to be close to getting him to join the team in the next few days.

Milner will now bring an end to his eight-year stay on Merseyside, where he has made 328 appearances and won six major honours. It is understood that while Jurgen Klopp was keen to keep him at Anfield for another season, there were no formal talks between Milner and club officials, with Brighton making a convincing pitch to the veteran, who will now join up with ex-Reds teammate Adam Lallana at the Amex Stadium next season. Liverpool, GOAL understands, recently asked Milner to reconsider his decision to leave, but the deal with Brighton is now virtually complete.

According to reports from ยูฟ่าเบท, Brighton has already made an offer and talked to Milner. Everything is going well and there will be an official announcement next.

In addition to the midfielder of Liverpool, the Seagull team also has news to bring in Mahmoud Dahoud, the midfielder of Borussia Dortmund to add another army. To replace Alexis Mac Allister, who is about to debut with the Reds team in the next few hours.
