Jamie Redknapp, former England midfielder Pointing out that Arsenal problem right now lies in the wing-back position. That didn’t help the team’s football game get better. Plus, the players playing aren’t their natural positions.
“The Gunners” lost to Fulham 1-2 last Sunday night. This caused the team to win only one game out of the last 5 games and lose 3 matches. Starting to cause concern about the championship contender. Even though they trailed Liverpool, the leader, by only 2 points with more than one game played.
Redknapp sees Arsenal’s right-back position as a problem because it didn’t help the game. Especially with Takehiro Tomiyasu being sent to play in the second half. Which made the game even more difficult. The team’s worse than before ทางเข้า UFABET
“(Saka’s goal) should have been the catalyst for Arsenal to go ahead and win the game comfortably. They have the players to do that. But today they didn’t have that spark.”
Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“We talked about whether they would score enough goals but I look at the full-backs and what they bring to the game. He (Arteta) tried to make substitutions at half-time, Tomiyasu was right. He comes in midfield and all he does is annoy his team. And He didn’t help the game at all, he looked really bad.
“Their midfield doesn’t seem to be doing much. They didn’t create enough chances. So they couldn’t score. Too much possession without the goal you want. When you feel like the striker isn’t producing results. That puts the pressure on the defenders. You try to force things. sometimes and open up your own space.”
“It is a symptom of what Arsenal are at the moment. They’re a little lost. They need to find that confidence. People think Arsenal will continue and this might be a little tricky for them. This might be the reality check they need because they are shutting it down right now.”
